Yesterday we rode our bikes along the cycle/pedestrian path on Rous Head (the headland with the North Mole) in Fremantle. We jokingly refer to the path as the Container Cycleway, since there are lots of shipping containers stacked up nearby.
But then we came to the shelters below and realised that the Fremantle Ports had the same idea. The shelters are rather appropriately based on containers. Those things on poles are wind turbines that help to power the lighting. The development is known as the Rous Walk and is built on reclaimed land.
