The great English architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott was born on 9 Nov 1880. He designed many famous buildings, including Waterloo Bridge in London and Liverpool Anglican cathedral.

But maybe his most popular achievement was the original K2 design for those iconic red phone boxes that you can’t stop photographing on a visit to England.
