Monet – Garden

The garden at Monet’s House in Giverny, 30km east of Rouen, must be the most famous garden in all of France. Monet had the gardens laid out to his own design, with a Japanese water garden in one section and a more traditional European flower garden. Then he included the garden in many of his paintings, turning it into an icon.
