Year of the Sheep

Origami Sheep 1

2015 is the Year of the Sheep in the Chinese calendar, but the year doesn’t start until the first day of the first month of the lunar year – which is on 19 Feb this year. Except in Japan, that is. The Japanese superimposed the Chinese lunar year onto the Western calendar. So today is the start of the Year of the Sheep in Japan, but not in China. Anyway, we decided to mark the occasion by folding some origami sheep.

      • Hi Keith and Susan!

We’ve been living in Perth for 4 years, and I think we haven’t seen much of Perth so far. It’s very interesting to read your posts, and to get to know more about Perth.

Keep posting Keith and Susan, and thank you for the information you share.

        Best wishes,
        Trang
