Winter Wildflowers


A few days back we sent for a walk in the bushland of Kings Park, just a few kilometres from central Perth. Although this is the first week of winter, there were plenty of wildflowers in bloom. It’s a reminder that you can see wildflowers all year round in Perth, not just in spring.


The flower above is Pink Summer Calytrix (yes, it flowers in winter too) and the one below is Grevillea vestita, both basking in winter sunshine. You can read more about these and other wildflowers on our Perth Wildflowers blog.
