Yesterday we were in the Perth suburb of Alfred Cove, on the south side of the Swan River. The foreshore is a nature reserve, and the adjoining river is part of the Swan Estuary Marine Park.
It looked like a good place to spot some interesting waterbirds, so we went for a look. Tomorrow we’ll show you what we found. Amazingly, this rather quiet and secluded area is still within eyesight of central Perth.
