In yesterday’s blog entry we mentioned that Perth is a good place for bird watchers. It is also great for wildflower lovers. Yesterday we went for a walk along some of the bushland walking trails in Kings Park, which is just 2km from the CBD.
Some of the trails are sandy (top), while others are more suited to people who don’t like getting sand in their shoes (above).
But wherever you walk, you will find plenty of impressive wildflowers, including Common Hovea above and Star of Bethlehem below.
