Going 50:50

We never miss a chance to visit LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) when we are in LA. So we called in to see the “50 for 50” exhibition during our recent visit. It celebrates the 50th anniversary of the art museum and features 50 highly varied artworks, including Melencolia I by Albrecht Durer which is one of the clues in Dan Brown’s novel “The Lost Symbol”.

We also liked the sculpture “Portrait of a Gentleman” by Bernini.

And these remarkably artistic Californian travel posters.
