While we were in Gingin on the weekend, we visited the Gravity Discovery Centre. It’s a great science museum located in the grounds of the Australian International Gravitational Observatory. The observatory is searching for gravity waves, ripples in time-space the are sometimes described as “echoes of the Big Bang”.
The leaning tower at the Gravity Discovery Centre allows children to repeat Galileo’s famous experiment, in which he dropped weights from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Nearby there is this arched entry to the museum, made out of old scientific equipment, and looking vaguely reminiscent of a molecular model.
