Auto Fest


Last weekend we went along to Whiteman Park, on the east side of Perth, to catch the annual Shannon’s Classic Car Show. With displays by about 100 car clubs, there was a lot to look at. The Mokes were celebrating their 50th anniversary (above), but what really caught our attention was the variety of great trucks.


The beat up 1926 Chevrolet above surprised onlookers when the owner showed that it starts up and runs with no fuss at all, while the shiny 1946 Dodge below shows the other end of the restoration spectrum.
