Piano Man

Erik Satie, one of our favourite French composers, died on 1 July 1925. He wrote some of the most beguiling piano music that you’ll ever hear, and was majorly eccentric to boot. During the 1890s he lived in this house in Rue Cortot, Montmartre – not far from the Sacre Coeur Basilica in Paris.
