If I was in LA 3

Here are some more works on display at the exhibition “Above the Fold: New Expressions in Origami”. The large bird above is “Ruga Swan” by China/USA artist Jiangmei Wu. It is made with corrugated board.

​North Americans Martin and Erik Demaine folded this amazingly origami, in which curved creases give the work its complex 3D coiled shape. And the piece titled “Unidentified Flying Origami (UFO)” below is by French origami artist Vincent Floderer. The exhibition is being held at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, and runs through to August 21.
