Year of the Rooster 2

We do run into the occasional rooster/hen in our travels. We spotted this Big Rooster outside a French restaurant in southeast Queensland, and the amusing newspaper headline below in Darwin. (For our overseas readers, “chook” is Aussie English for chicken.)

This chook photobombed us when we were photographing a vintage caravan for a magazine article.

And if you’re wondering WHERE the chicken crossed the road, we can tell you! This sign is in the small hamlet of South Kilkerran in South Australia.
