Never to be Repeated

During our recent visit to the University of Western Australia, we also admired the Penrose tiling in the atrium of the Bayliss Building. The eye sees patterns everywhere, but the tiles actually never repeat the same pattern (as printed fabrics and wallpapers do). There are just 4 differently shaped tiles to create the mesmerising floor.
