Sydney on the Fly 6

While we were in Sydney, we also wandered through the opulent, late 19th century Queen Victoria Building (aka the QVB).

And stopped to admire the two large and impressive clocks hanging from the roof.


Southern Exposure

Unlike the northern end of Perth’s London Court, it’s hard to get a decent photo of the southern end, since it faces away from the sun and is generally in shadow. However when we walked past it late in the afternoon recently, we found that the sun swings around enough to light up the southern facade quite nicely. The ornate clock has moving figures of St George and the dragon.
